The first publicly available demo for Synaesthete went live on July 7th, 2007. Since then, we've been receiving steady feedback as people give us their first impressions. Few people outside of our group of fellow DigiPen students have played the game before this point - needless to say, we were all quite anxious to find out what the gaming public at large thinks of our project.
It's been ten days since we released the demo and right now we're nearing the end of our first update sprint. The newest build should be ready by this Thursday evening (July 19th). I'm quite excited about what we're about to release. Plenty of bugs have been fixed, we've added more stability to the application as a whole, more attention was given to supporting other video cards besides the ones we develop on, and we've changed some of the core gameplay elements. Nothing too extreme, but if you played the initial release, the changes should be noticeable.
